The Story of Le Palace des Vosges
We were very lucky to find this AMAZING "maison" -- more of a house in the country than an apartment in Paris, right smack dab in the middle of Paris' most elegant square -- the Place des Vosges.
Finding an apartment for sale in the Place des Vosges is virtually impossible. But we did it! And this one is the 'jewel in the crown.'
If you don't already know it, the square, located in Le Marais, in the 4th arrondissement, is the BEST ADDRESS in town. Nothing comes close! Living on the square is as elegant and special as any address could be.
The Place is more than 400 years old. The history is filled with intrigue, having once been a private gated community for the rich and famous. It's the center of Marais life and it gets more beautiful with each passing moment.

Le
Palace des Vosges is located on the second courtyard adjacent
to the Michelin-rated three-star restaurant, L'Ambroisie,
at number 9, just one door down from the entrance to the gardens of
the Hôtel de Sully. The entry is one of those
grand arched doors. Nights and weekends, there is an "Interphone"
where you must ring to enter, so don't even try, or the Concierge
will send you scurrying out!
Once you enter, you will discover a cobble stoned courtyard, statuary in the center, the windows of Amboisie on the right, windows of the Hôtel de Sully on the left and a well-respected art gallery straight ahead. Keep walking and turn down the little road on your left. It winds down what feels like a country lane to another courtyard, planted with roses, more statuary and on it sits an atelier, several small houses, a few garages and two walls of windows four meters high in the far corner.
That's "LE PALACE DES VOSGES"...our name for our very own Fractional Ownership property. This is your chance to own one (or more) fractions of what will be the most luxurious and most elegant fractional property in Paris! Let me tell you just a bit about it...
The
"Acte de Vente" was signed on January 30 2009! The property
will be owned by up to 13 different and very lucky owners, each one
with four weeks of usage, to be purely rotational in two-week increments!

enter through the main door which is part of a glass paned wall into

that overlooks the main living area.
The
view from the windows looks onto the courtyard and has a perfect view
of the Hôtel de Sully... stunning! There is the possibility
of privatizing the entry by using plants to make an enclosed patio.
We have plans to add a fireplace, improve the windows and garage doors
and totally renovate and decorate the property to maximum luxury.
Martine di Matteo, our Interior Architect, and I spent a day at the semi-annual trade fair, "Maison et Objet," where many decorative items we thinks will be just the right dressings. Trust me, the entire apartment will be total "eye candy!" We will stop at nothing to make it perfect...something of which every owner will be hugely proud and LOVE lavishing in.
The bedrooms will be air conditioned and the entire apartment will be well heated with efficient electric radiators. Neither smoking nor pets will be allowed, of course.
